Pain that Never Ends

Standing on the quiet edge between life and death,

the sweet memories of a life not lived.

Mistakes we made we can not change,

pain like a razor slicing through a vein

blood from open wounds never to heal again.

Yesterdays sorrows and tomorrows dreams collid

in the night between heart broken screams

The changes for the future flutter aweay disappearing

in a desperate act, flooded with darkness no

longer to see the pain in which we leave.

Silence fills the air, as everything begins to freeze unfathomable

pain in a silent scream.

Crystal clear tear drops against pale skin never finding peace

not even in the end

A Prayer for my Mom

Now I lay me down to sleep

On a bed of thorns I shall not weep

I pray the lord my soul to keep

wrapped in his warm embrace

If I die before I wake

What a glorious fate

I pray the lord my soul to take

Higher than this mortal plain

To play among the clouds so high

Where angels dance and sparrows fly

In his grace I shall not weep

Kneeling down at his feet

In his embrace I shall not die

Upon his throne sitting so high

In his love I find peace

Now I lay me down to sleep!

When judgement comes

The sounds of raport echoing through the empty streets, cries fill the ears of the huddled masseshiding behind thier blinds, they close their eyes blocking out the screams their hands over their ears, the desperate cries that will haunt them for years.Stepping causually off the curb over the puddle of blood that was purged running in a crimson tide<span  beneath their feet they ignore it and retreat into the safety of their homes and the protection of their lives they are humans in disguise pretending to be something more than what they are as they pass the broken body in their shinny car, eyes straight ahead no recognition of the dead, casually they drive along listening to the radio’s happy song all the while their soul slip away deeper into a darkness they cant escape, this is the life of the innocent bystandered the witness t o a crime, the prisoner who goes through life blind, does not see and is not kind, a shell of a being in human form, what is more terrible than to see a crime committed and then to flee, hiding behind the mortar walls not carring who death calls, a coward who trembles beneath his bed while an innocent lies on the streets bathed in red. So go on and hide and do not see for when judgement comes it comes for thee!

Midnight Song

Whispering winds caressing the soft velvet skin, the call of the tide as it rises from the sea the blanket of sand beneath bare feet, long lonely nights with no end in sight the soft touch of the moon as it rises in full bloom a glistening dome in heavens home lighting the way for the lonely heart. The laughter of the sea dancing through the winds singing and calling with out any end, cries unheard of the distant bird, the laughter taunting on the warm midnight breeze. The midnight song that sings to all, joining in the rapture of life as the trees dance beneath the night sky. Sparkling diamonds twinkling high laughing at the dance of the night, the swaying of the trees as they dance upon the warm breeze the call of the night that draws all out and into the moons bright shinning light. The midnight song plays for us all carrying away the past and leaving only the moments of happiness that are meant to last.
